This school year our reach has expanded to 36 Yuba and Sutter Schools, and several schools in Placer and Sacramento Counties. And through a Yuba-Sutter United Way Grant 2 Colusa County Schools.

Who is eligible to apply to Family Camp?

Families with a student who participates in the Shady Creek Outdoor School, Fit Quest program in CY 2015/2016. A new Family Camp is planned, however, space is limited so don’t wait to get your application in for consideration.

Fund A Kid

The Foundation strives to provide access to students in our service area to attend the Shady Creek Outdoor School.

We are pleased to announce the launching of our Fund A Kid program that will allow the community at large to help fund kids who might not otherwise get to attend the Outdoor Science Camp experience. Simply download and print the Fund A Kid Form and mail it with your donation to Shady Creek OEF, 970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City, Ca. 95993. You can also select the Donate button on our home page and specify that this is a Fund A Kid donation.

The form allows you to specify a student from a particular county, it also allows you to set up small monthly donations. A $10/month donation will pay half of a students tuition for their week at Shady Creek Outdoor School, while a $20/month will fully fund a student to cover the Sutter County Superintendents fees in the 2016/2017 school year cycle, (some schools and districts charge differing amounts to students and their families). And a check for a single amount is also very welcome, we appreciate your support.
